Student Class Representative Election
Student Class Representative Election will take place on 14.10.2025 at 14:30 in the meeting room of the Department of Political Science and International Relations. It is aimed to elect a student representative from each class. Candidate students and students who want to vote for their friends should be present in the meeting room of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at 14:00. The international conference series titled “Turkish–EU Relations and Strategic Autonomy in an Emerging Multipolar World,” organized with the support of the European Union Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and with the participation of Prof. Dr. Enes Bayraklı, Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the Turkish-German University, will be held in Spain between October 7–10, 2025.

Our department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zaur Gasimov has contributed a chapter to the book Constitutional Dynamics and Political Transformation in the Ottoman and Qajar Lands in the Long Nineteenth Century, published by Brill Publishers and edited by Denise Hermann and Erdal Kaynar.

Meeting with the Editorship of German Politics Journal
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, and our General Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay, met with Prof. Dr. Kai Oppermann, Chair of International Relations at Chemnitz Technical University and editor of German Politics. The meeting was also attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Turhan and Dr. Dominic Heinz, faculty members the Department of Political Science and International Relations at our University.
Opening Lecture of the Department of Political Science and International Relations
The Department of Political Science and International Relations' opening lecture will be held on October 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the School of Foreign Languages Conference Hall. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Aslan will deliver the opening lecture, "Strategic Autonomy in Turkish, EU, and German Foreign Policy." The event is open to university staff and students.
